Open to anyone interested in learning about and participating in the 2013 field season for LPOW's Water Quality Monitoring Program.  We've significantly expanded the WQM Program from last season, adding multiple new parameters and sampling stations.  Our returning volunteers are highly encouraged to attend to learn about these new aspects of the program before the volunteer training on May 28th.   We will cover time commitments, sampling logistics, and sampling station distribution, as well as answer general questions about volunteer involvement in the WQM Program.

LPOW will provide snacks and beverages for attendees.  

Volunteer Training

This is the mandatory training session for volunteers participating in the 2013 field season for LPOW's Water Quality Monitoring Program.  We will distribute the WQM kits and go over all sampling procedures and protocols outlined in the 2013 WQM Volunteer Manual.  We will also review logistics of sample transport and delivery to LPOW, as well as answer any remaining questions our volunteers may have about the upcoming field season.
