"A simple way to do good"

We all want to preserve and protect our magnificent water resources.  What if you could raise money to support a clean and healthy Lake Pend Oreille through an activity most of us do every day? What if your contribution cost you nothing, and was as easy as hitting your keyboard's Enter key?  It is!  We're happy to announce that Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper is now a Goodsearch supported organization.  We now have the power to harness the world wide web for a local cause!  To jump in, all we need is a little help from everyone who loves our lake.  
  
What is Goodsearch?  Goodsearch is a Yahoo! powered search engine that donates a penny for every internet search its members enter.  For example, looking up a cookie recipe online donates a penny to Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper when you select us as your non-profit of choice.  Need to look up directions to your next meeting? That's one more penny donated to LPOW.  It doesn't seem like a lot, but over time, with many participants, this money adds up to do real good in our community.
