Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper is proud to partner with EVANS BROTHERS COFFEE to bring you the Lake Lover’s Blend. This coffee is a tribute to Lake Pend Oreille and a celebration of clean water. Why? Because we believe a healthy lake is key to encouraging a healthy, vibrant community. The Lake Lover’s Blend keeps our lake swimmable, fishable, and drinkable, now and long into the future. How? By directly funding the community programs that connect people to Lake Pend Oreille through recreation, education, and stewardship. Enjoy the artisan-roasted Lake Lover’s Blend. It’s the perfect coffee for everyone who loves our lake.
About the blend: Lake Lover's is a special blend of beans from several origins. First is Colombia Huila Monserrate, a relationship coffee between Evans Brothers’ importer and the small community of Monserrate. Next is certified organic coffee from Ethiopia and Sumatra (the Sumatra is also certified Fair Trade). The blend also contains Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, which contributes a well-rounded profile for the blend and a nicely consistent flavor. Lake Lover’s achieves a flavor profile of chocolate, caramel, and citrus with floral aromatics.
Cans for clean water: Empty? No worries. This can was born to be refilled. It has a one-way valve and a gasket lid to keep your coffee fresh time and again. Evans Brothers Coffee donates $1.25 back to LPOW every time you refill at their Roasting Studio in Sandpoint, or refill from your local bulk bin.
